This complete renovation of an apartment in the heart of Moscow was designed by architect Tatiana Tsurkova.
The apartment in the "Sky fort" residential complex was designed to make the owner's dreams come true. This included the creation of an apartment in line with the latest trends, that could evolve over time and adapt to the needs of a family with two young children.
Another wish was to have a sofa in the middle of the main room, surrounded by an amazing panoramic view. This large open space, with no walls to separate it from the corridor, allowed the creation of a multifunctional and cosy TV wall with a fireplace and a small studio.
The kitchen is spacious and light. The small appliances and the kettle are hidden behind panels to keep the view clean.
The couple's spa-like bathroom has a separate space for each and two sinks.
The master bedroom has a dressing room and a study area for maximum comfort and privacy, providing a quiet place to work.
The children's room has been divided into different areas to create a dedicated space for each. A sofa separates it from the rest of the room, creating a relaxing area for the nanny or guests.
A sports corner has been created next to the children's room. In the future, when the children go to school, this area will be the perfect place for study.
Tesi radiators were used in several rooms to give the apartment personality and optimise the space. Their bright colours provide more light, widening the space and creating a cosy atmosphere.
This project shows the transformative power of a well designed renovation.
